How To Start Carpooling
TRAFFIX’s Commuter Computer will match you with people in your area who are interested in forming carpools. Just complete the online registration then click “Find Ridematch” to set criteria and preferences then view you matches instantly. For more information call 1-800-700-RIDE (7433).
Guaranteed Ride
Don’t worry about getting stuck when an emergency arises, TRAFFIX’s Guaranteed Ride Program (GRP) will provide you a ride back to your point of origin in case of an unexpected emergency. Registered participants are allowed up to two (2) rides a month not to exceed twelve (12) rides a year. Registration is free. To register complete the online registration form or call 1-800-700-RIDE!
Park & ride
TRAFFIX in cooperation with the Virginia Department of Transportation are constantly seeking out convenient location for park and ride lots. Park and ride lots are convenient places to meet your carpool and park for free. Click here to view Hampton Roads park & ride lot locations.
